Market conditions and costs
Trading only some days
A plan can name the days and hours it trades. Nothing published says which days are best.
Practitioner rule, no published test found
Widely taught. The Exchange can test it on public price history and will say what it finds.
No verified evidence was found that particular weekdays are better for retail traders.
What it is
Restricting days is a rule about the trader, not a claim about the market: fewer trades, more attention per trade, less exposure to fatigue.
What it suggests
The rule earns its place if the trader's own results are better on those days, which the Exchange can show.
How to check it
Compare results inside and outside the chosen days once there are enough trades.
Common mistakes
- Copying someone's days without checking your own record.
