Not financial advice
Last updated October 11, 2026
The short version
- BullishExchange is a trading journal, plan builder and calculator. It is not an investment adviser or a commodity trading advisor.
- It checks your own plan. It never tells you what to buy or sell.
- Backtests and paper results are hypothetical. They have real limits, described below.
Education, not advice
Everything BullishExchange shows is general, impersonal information and a measurement of the plan you wrote. It is not investment, financial, tax or legal advice, and it is not a recommendation by a commodity trading advisor. You author your plan and make every decision. Talk to a licensed professional about your own situation.
Setups, not signals
When the app says a setup is Ready, it means the conditions you wrote into your plan occurred. It is never an instruction to trade.
Hypothetical performance
HYPOTHETICAL OR SIMULATED PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE CERTAIN LIMITATIONS. UNLIKE AN ACTUAL PERFORMANCE RECORD, SIMULATED RESULTS DO NOT REPRESENT ACTUAL TRADING. ALSO, SINCE THE TRADES HAVE NOT BEEN EXECUTED, THE RESULTS MAY HAVE UNDER-OR-OVER COMPENSATED FOR THE IMPACT, IF ANY, OF CERTAIN MARKET FACTORS, SUCH AS LACK OF LIQUIDITY. SIMULATED TRADING PROGRAMS IN GENERAL ARE ALSO SUBJECT TO THE FACT THAT THEY ARE DESIGNED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFIT OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN.
Backtests, paper (demo) books and what-if results in the app are hypothetical. They are shown with their trade counts and cost assumptions and are never projected forward into money.
Past results
Past results, including your own, do not guarantee future results.
AI
Some answers are written with the help of an AI service. They can be wrong. They describe your plan and your data; they are not advice.
