Method
Three ways to enter
Enter when the signal closes, wait for a pullback into the signal, or wait for a break and a retest.
Widely taught. The Exchange can test it on public price history and will say what it finds.
No published comparison found. The trader's journal can supply one.
What it is
Entering at the close catches the move early and risks a false start. Waiting for a partial retracement gives a better price and a smaller stop, and price sometimes never comes back. Waiting for a break and retest asks for confirmation and pays for it with a later entry.
What it suggests
None is correct in general. Each trades reward against certainty differently.
How to check it
Record which style each trade used so the Exchange can compare them on the trader's own results.
Common mistakes
- Switching styles after a loss.
